hey guys im new here but i just got a 85 z28 camaro with an 305 tpi and an a4 with 16" wheels. there is the rpo codes in the console so how can i tell if this car is a iroc. i ran the vin and all it said was sport copue z28. by the way this car has no fog lights in the front bumper.

 

Are you sure you could even get an Iroc in '85?

He doesnt have the codes. You should be able to tell if its an Iroc by the badge on the passenger side dash. It should say Z28 with Iroc under it...

 

Yeah IROC was in 85-90. What about rims, got the IROC rims? No decals anywhere that say IROC-Z? I think there is a place in the engine compartment that tells u also. Not sure tho. Could always take to dealership and have them run vin#. I think they can do this and give u a print out of the RPO codes.

 

thought you had to buy them from GM they have a file. If you can get the codes from the dealer let me know I work at one and this is news to me. I would love it If I could print mine out and it would most likely cost me nothing.

 

yes its the iroc wheels.and there is no iroc under the z28 on the passagner side badge.
