Would this intake work?

I was wondering, do you guys think this http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...&SHOWEMAIL=Off intake would work on my '87 305 TPI Z28? It turns to the drivers side, but on our cars there is the radiator hose there. Do you think it'd turn to the passenger side easily if I just flipped that 90* boot upside down? Thanks. No, I don't want the intake made for our cars, I don't want to have to relocated the battery, and I really really like the sound that an open filter intake makes - the 'shhhhhhhhhh' and the growl it gives the engine.

Read post "TRANS AM/FIREBIRD OWNERS PLEAE STEP INSIDE" ALSO IN THIS SECTION, SINCE YOU ARE BOTH ASKING ABOUT CAI. YOU CAN BUILD ONE FOR ABOUT $15 AND BUY A K&N FOR $40-50. DO A SEARCH ON "AIR INTAKE" IN THE TPI SECTION TO GET LOTS OF IDEAS AND PICTURES.
