Anybody using/used the Cyberdyne Digital Fuel Pressure Guage??

I was just searching around for a fuel pressure guage and came across the Cyberdyne Digital Fuel Pressure guage that was new in one of the last issues of Jegs. Is anyone using or has anyone used this guage before and if so how well do you like it?

I called Jegs to ask them some questions about the guages and the guy on the line told me that the electrical guages (digital or not) weren't as good as mechanical because they didn't register on the guage as quickly and that I may have a fuel pressure change and it could take a second or two to register on the guage. So after that I thought about going to a mechanical guage. Only problem is that the isolator, tubing, and guage would all be somewhere in the range of $150-$180. Well, the full sweep electric guages are around $180 and the half sweeps are much cheaper but harder to read due to less markings on the face. However, the Cyberdyne digital fuel guage is 20-100psi, is electric, and was only $40 in the issue of Jegs that it was new in. Even though now I see in the new catalog that the 0-16psi guage has gone up to $80 and the 20-100psi guage isn't listed anymore.

I can't vouch for the cyberdyne. I have the autometer electric FP full sweep guage and it doesn't have any real lag time to speak of, as you can see the pressure change instantly with throttle input. But yes it was $180 or so...

Dont know about them being "NEW," I think I got mine 5 years ago Like it real well and no need to use the isolator.

I just purchased and installed the Nordskog digital fuel pressure gauge and sender this past weekend. I have Cyberdyne digital gauges also. The only reason I went with the Nordskog is the lifetime warranty. It works great! Summit sells the gauge for $39.95 (part # MRD-8034) and the sender is $39.95(part# MRD-S8434). Gauge and sender are for 0-100psi.

Hope this helps!

Correction for above reply! Nordskog fuel pressure gauge and sender are 15 - 100 psi. (Not 0 - 100psi)

Here is a piture of the gauge attached!

Thanks, that Nordskog gauge looks nice. I found it on the summit website but I had to do a search for it. The part number is actually NRD-M8034.
