Does the TRansGo shiftkit sold by summit (PN TRG-700) come with a vette servo? If not, why is it $130 and where can I get a corvette servo? I might just have go with another 700r4 since I am not recieving **** for help/info on the four speed.

 

no they actually give you different spings and couple of shims to modify your servo,there's a place in fairfield n.j. called fatsco transmission parts.I 'm not sure if they sell to the public but i can find out tomorrow.it's called a corvette piston or an o93 piston.maybe I can get a price if you can't find it because they deliver to us everyday.

 

My TransGo kit came with the Vette servo! That is why the kit is $130. Unless they changed it in the last couple of years, the 700R4 kit does include the Vette servo.
Of course, now i have a StreetFighter.

 

Mine comes with the Corvette servo and something extra, the Trans-Go 1-2 accumulation setup that eliminates the harsh 1-2 part throttle shifts, nobody elses kit comes with this setup. Let me know if I can be of help?

 

don't know for sure if it came with the servo it was 2 years ago(would love to upgrade to a bigger servo if possible thou),wish it shifted a little quicker 1-2,think this is because of my convertor

 

How much Pro-Built?? Also, does your kit fix that problem with the downshifting at WOT?? The kit you're referring to, that doesn't do the neck snapping shifting does it?

You see, I live in GA, and am looking for a kit to fix all the design flaws of the transmission. I believe I found what I'm looking for....but where are you located?

Pro Built, do you have a website? how much does your kit cost? If I have to use another 700R4 I will definitely get a shift kit in hopes that the tranny will last longer than the previous one.

 

maybe we got a different kit,i was wondering why they gave me shims instead of the servo.

 

I just bought the kit from Probuilt. It was $70 + $5 shipping.

 

The kit you are talking about sells for $148.32. If you want to do the modification to the TV plunger bushing to eliminate the 4-3 downshift & have the WOT 3-4 upshift I will send the instuctions on how to do this with the Shift kit. The website is www.pro-built.net I hope this helps.

 

AAHHHHH....I see now......there are other TransGo setups.....I got the more expensive one that included the servo. It was a lot of crap though on the install. Lots of drilling and spring and plunger swapping.
I also ordered the 3-4 WOT upshift valve. Almost got pulled over testing it out
