Question on clutch

Hey everyone, I have a T-5 transmission in my car. When i was in 5th gear i pushed on the gas, the RPM's jumped up and i wasnt moving any faster. I take it that my clutch was sticking. This is the second time this has happened, so does this mean the clutch is dead or what. Thanks for any help.

It is slipping, usually means the disk is worn out and/or the pressure plate diaphragm spring is fatigued.

Get it fixed soon or it will strand you somewhere.
