Just like it says I have a 90 RS and have 373 gears for it. I ordered the gears for the speedo, but the guy told me the sleeve was $108. I told him to forget it , but now I wonder do I need it. I thought I read somewhere I dont need the sleeve because I have VSS but am not sure. please help me out here guys.

 

I changed from 2.73's to 3.42's and replaced my speedo gears and did not need a sleeve......it maybe different for the gears for 3.73.........but I don't think so.

 

I just went through the same thing. I installed a 15 drive and a 45 driven. Bought the sensor too. When I changed the drive gear, I took all of the info off of the sensor. They still didn't know what sensor I needed, so I bought the new one. Didn't need it, and took it back. The sensor in my car is white where the wires plug on it, it also has 34-39 on it. The 45 tooth gears was the exact same diameter as the 39 tooth I took out. Hope this helps.
