Dana, I have not heard from you on this Email So I will post here:
have a 1987 Camaro wth a 700R-4. I just replaced the stock computer with an aftermarket Holley system that does not have a trans converter lock up function. I have wired up a vacuum switch to lock the converter up as per your recomendation. The switch gets its power from the switch on the brake pedal, so no power is applied when the pedal is depressed. The converter is now locking in 2nd gear when making slow speed turns (less than 25 mph). This makes the car buck like manual when you let the clutch out too fast. Does the blue wire in the harness, 4th gear switch according to the service manual, have to be wired in somehow ?
Also I purchased a Transgo shift kit from you several weeks ago & have not installed it yet. My question is can you supply me parts to beef up this 700 to handle 450+ hp that my local trans guy can install. If the parts duplicate what's in the kit I have, can I return it to you for credit against the new parts ?
