Where can I get a good torque converter??

I am going to need a better torque converter (3200 stall probably) when I get my new engine combo. What kind is the best for the money and where can I get it? Thanks.

From what I hear Vigilante & Yank make the best ones on the market.

That may be true but $800 to $1000 for a torque converter is ridiculous!

I know someone who is selling a used Midwest Converter (5000 miles) for 300 dollars. It is a lockup converter, comes with 2800 stall.
