I was wondering if it is possible to swap the rearend from my 87 z28 for the rearend out of a 93 z28, and if so what kind of modifications need to be done.

 

the rear out of the 93 will bolt right in. the 4th gen reas are about 3" wider then the 3rd gens.but no modifications will be needed to just bolt it in and go. you will have to do something with your brakes and e brake. if you are going from drum to disc then you need an adjustable propotioning valve and the ebrake cables are different.
