Anyone tried a Pro 5.0 shifter on thier T5?

I know the T56 guys swear by them, but I havn't heard much of anything about the T5 version. i'm thinking of getting one, so i'm looking for some experience on how they compare to the Hurst Billit plus and B&M Ripper. Thanks.

We just installed a Pro 5.0 shifter on a 1989 Formula for GMHTP. The article should be in the upcoming polybag issue. We were very happy with it. Haven't missed a gear yet.

After driving my T5 with the B&M Ripper Shifter, and coming home to find out my wife's formy has the Hurst shifter in it I was suprised to notice that the B&M is actually stiffer. You have to put some effort to use the B&M, whereas the Hurst is very light but precise. Both make a huge difference over the stock shifter!

I've driven both Hurst cars before, and now your car Jay with the B&M. I can't really decide which I like more, they had very different feels to them. The B&M is alot stiffer...notchier. I kinda liked it.

I have heard T56 guys tho swear they can't stand a hurst or B&M after driving thier pro5.0..so I wanna consider that. plus, given my heavy *** hand...the steel construction sounds like a good idea

That is true, and I can't say I blame ya for wanting something built that solid. Let me know what you find out
