How do you remove the park brake cable from the shifter?

Installing a B&M Megashifter and can't figure out how to get it off. The shifter cable came off easily after pulling out the cotter pin, but this seems to be a bit more tricky.

Re: How do you remove the park brake cable from the shifter?

The cable if like my 91 (i dont see why therewould be a difference) is on the lever like a throttle cable on a TB, it fits in a channel with a cylinder stop on the end that twists and slides into the hole....the zip ties keep the slack in the channel, if there are no white/clear zip ties on it (factory) them someone has already messed with it at some point. be sure to replace them when done
