I am looking for a better shifter cable for my car, does anyone make jsut a replacement cable? I already replaced it once with a cable from the dealer, which was like 60 bucks, and it freaking broke again. It looks like they commonly have the cable sheathing pull out of the plastic housing which mounts in the bracket onthe transmission. I can see why it pulls out, it is made very sh*tty. What aftermarket shifters are good? I dont really want to spend 150 dollars on a B&M console shifter, though. Is it any good? Does it come with another cable? Is it wrth the 150 dollars?

Also, why does the B&M console shifter say it won't fir 88-92 Firebird Formulas?
