are you talking about a junkyard 9 instead of amoser or currie?the aftermarkets are a bolt in. some other one would have to be installed with aladder bar or 4 link setup , because of our lovely torque arms.

I thought you had to have the ford 9" sent too someone
to cut it shorter, and make it so it hsa our stud pattern and
all that other crap?
and what about our springs.. is there a spot for our springs
to rest on thsoe?

Moser, Currie, etc do all that. It's pointless to do it yourself IMO. Get an aftermarket axle housing and axles and run a junkyard 3rd member if you want one for cheap.
