Hi my prob is i dont know if i have a shift kit or my trans is going out...the 1-2 shift is really really hard..it pills out very bad at 1-2

what could it be..maybe the shift kit going out or whta???????should i get this looked at???

 

I asked the same question a while back and everyone told me that the third gens just do that. They said that I might have a B&M kit in it but they did not think so. Mine spins in second and shifts pretty hard. Mark Shields thought that the TV cable might have needed to be adjusted but he said that was if it is shifting too high. Mine only does it when I get on it. It shifts hard into second but it does not shift too high. Hope this helps.

You may just have a broken 1-2 accumulator spring. This will make for a rougher 1-2 shift.
