I just got this car on the road so I dont know what its history is but sometimes when I drive it, the torque converter wont unlock, it seems to happen after a hard brake and it wont un lock until the car has been parked for more then a few minutes. Any thoughts?

Is this the 3-speed unit? If so it is the 3T40 (125C) and the L/U Solenoid is bad. Very common. I replace them on everyone I do.

You won't have L/U but run the risk of overheating it. Also, with that Tranny you may have an INTERNAL hydraulic problem causing this and might still have it afer unplugging. Sorry.

Also, what do you thing Thomas Jeffersons position on Flag burning would be?
