Tranny not shifting into 4th at WOT

My 700R4 tranny started to not shift into 4th at WOT about a week ago and I am wondering why. It shifts fine around town, but when I stomp onit or go to pass someone it just revs through in 3rd and wont upshift to the point where I have to lay off the gas.....Any suggestions or help is appreciated. Thanks.

They dont shift into fourth at wide open throttle. What kind of gears do you have in your car?

Actually, what I meant to say is that it does't have that smoothness at the topend and then shift down as it revs out.....I know they dont go into 4th at WOT....dumb me....the guy I bught it from said that he put 3.73's in it. It's a 91 L98 Formula...Thanks.
