I've done a search, but didn't find anything.

Is there a difference between the flexplates and torque converter's bolt patterns on the 27 spline and 30 spline 700R4.

I've got to replace my transmission and I think that the mechanic that put in a trans has a 27 spline input shaft and TC, which I have to now replace. It's a long story, but ends up being a super-duper shady deal that ended up really sucking.

My question is that if it is a 27 spline TC, will I have to get a new flexplate to put on the 30 spline TC with the new trans?

He could have swaped the flexplate, but I dont' know. I just really regret taking my camaro to school with me because it came back in MUCH worse shape than when I took it. (missing paint, 3 transmissions, paint's all messed up, etc.)
