I'm just about to start rebuilding an old (pre-1980) 350SB. By the end, she'll be a 383 stroker runnin arund 425 hp and 425 ft-lbs, I hope. Trannies aren't my strong suit and I was hoping some of you could suggest what trannies (auto and man) would go well with this engine. BTW, I might be throwin on a supercharger a bit later if I get bored with only 425hp

 

th350 is an easy swap with b&m kit 30299 or a th400 with an aftermarket torque arm
