9 bolt in stock 1986 Trans Am?

I own a 86 TA with the WS6 suspension and disc rears. Out of curiousity, I crawled under my car and counted 9 bolts. I looked at the tech sheet that was posted and there is nothing listed about Trans Ams having the 9 bolt rear end. Does anyone know anything on this subject or if all trans ams w/ the WS6 setup cam standard with the 9 bolts?

What do you want to know about it? It's a lot stronger than the 10 bolt. All the information you need is at www.9bolt.com
