Mine was installed when the tranny broke years ago. I figure its not that hard of a swap and can be done with the tranny still in the car. It firms up all shifts, not just that shift considerably. I was so used to a vette servo that when I tried my friend's camaro with stock 700r4, I almost thought something was busted in the tranny because it was so feather like and soft.

It firms the 1-2 AND 2-3 shift and increases the holding power while in 2nd. It can be used with the TransGo Kit as they have calibration to accomadate it.
