Ok, this happened a few days ago, I noticed it as I pulled into a parkinglot. When I would come to a stop, I'd hear a distinct *click* sound. Then when I'd give the car a little gas, I'd hear it again. And again when it would shift from first to second. It wasn't a clunk noise, more of a click. Actually, what it really sounded like was the sound your car makes when you put it in park and the parking pall locks the tranny. But other than the weird noise, the car drove fine. I stopped, put it in park, and let it sit a minute. Then when I started driving around again, the noise was gone, and it hasn't done it since. What the heck could it have been, and should I expect it to become a problem in the future?

 

Ok, it did it again a few times this past week. One time it was really bad, as I was coming to a stop the tranny was going *clickclickclick*. I put it in neutral and the noise stopped. Bumped it back into drive (while I was still rolling to a stop) and it returned. What the heck is it!?!?? I'm starting to get really worried...
