Converter, 700R4, Bottem End?

I have a TH350 tranny with a stock converter in my car now with a 350. My bottem end really sucks . Will a good converter with a 700r4 help this out alot? Thanks

The convertor is your current problem...stock converters suck.

I would replace it (depending on your gears) with a 2400-2600 stall for the street (with 3.42 to 3.73 gears)

Your torque convertor is lugging your engine down and if your powerband starts at 1700 rpm and the stock convertor is a 1200 stall...you get the picture...

Unless you really want overdrive, stick with the TH350 or TH400 for cheaper parts and simplicity.

Good luck.
