Gears from a 2000 ls1 6 speed

Car: 91 rs
Engine: Carbed 355 CR 9:1 xr276 cam
Transmission: 700r4 2600 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.42
Gears from a 2000 ls1 6 speed
I am looking at a set of gears with 40k on them they seem to be in good shape, they are from a 2000 z28 ls1 6 speed will these gears work with the axels I have in my 91 rs? I also have an Slp carrier I assume they would work with that since it was a take off? Lastly is $45.00 a fair price for them?(they are 3.42's)
