hydraulic line

I have recently swapped from a auto to a TREMEC Tko. I used all of the third gen hydraulics (all one piece hard plastic line between the master and slave), and a Lakewood bloofproof bellhousing for the Camaro with hydraulic mounts. A week ago the line between the two got a hole burned through it by the header. Now I have a couple questions on how to fix it. I've heard rumors that the '93-95 hydraulics will work just like the '86-'92 but has a steel braided line on it so I can move it against the firewall away from the headers. Is that true? If not does anyone else have an idea on how I can change the line to a braided line for the third gen stuff?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rob

Well I answered my own question. I went to the dealership and asked for the master/slave combo for a '94 Camaro. The hookups seem to be identical the '84-'92 style. The '94 stuff bolted right in. The other advantage is it has a steel braided line inbetween that is about 6inches longer than I needed it to be due to the '94 stuff is a pull style clutch and my stuff is a push style. With this extra length I was able to route the line much farther away from the headers.
