Tranny bolts sheered off

Hi Guys,
I always find myself knee deep in trouble when I go anywhere near a tranny. Well, this time it;s really bad. I had my little brother check my tranny to stop a leak. He torqued the bolts on the pan and sheered one off. I figure one missing ins't too big of a deal, but the leak is still present so I procede to swap the gasket and fliter. During the process I sheer off another bolt on the opposite corner of the pan. WHat the hell is up with these things??? I tried to easy out the bolts and I ended up breaking an easy out in the bolt. I tried to drill that out, but the damn thing was so solid it chewed up a titanium and carbide drill bit before I got through. The drill went crooked through the tranny hole, but at least it's there. I drove the car back home (30 min on highway) and aparently lost all tranny fluid on the way cause the car doesn't go now.
My question, now that I gave you all that is" DO you think the tranny is still alive?" I noticed the engine temp was higher than normal on the way home. If it's ok then: "How do I get rid of that leak??"
Thanks guys. I'm really starting to hate F-Bodies.

if it's out of oil it won't work, so maybe all you need to do is refill it. just drill and tap a new hole next to the broken bolts or you can weld a nut on the bolt and take it out that way.
