driveshaft for 550hp

what driveshaft should i get to handle 550hp? What u joints should i get?

get one made with extra heavy tubeing or made from moly, i'd use a heavy spicer u joint or one fro racing applications.

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86

Steel shaft 3" x .083 wall. 1350 series u-joints and yokes. Aluminum flexes too much with high HP.

Have a 3.5" steel tube made with Spicer# 1350 u-joints. That's what my driveshaft guy reccomended & made for me.

Hey how good is that carbon fiber drive shaft? I dont ever plan on using it cause of the price on that sucker, but was wondering how good it was.
