'82 m4 question
I was thinking of switching to a th350 but i'm kinda enjoying this 4 speed. But ....... I know nothin about it. How strong are they? Anybody know the gear ratios(1st,2nd,3rd,4th)? Anybody have any info on them?

that's a borg warner T10 and they are pretty strong. there are many different variations of them and I'm not sure of your specific one. many circle trackers still use super T10s. my dad's 57 corvette has an original cast iron T10 worth about 2500 bucks.
C4 corvettes also ran a T10 with a planetary overdrive attached to it, the 4+3 trans that everyone talks about.

If you have the Borg Warner T10 like some early third gens,they are plenty strong.I have the T10 in my Z and have not one complaint.I had it rebuilt about 5 years ago and have beat the **** out of it since and besides regular bushing changes on the shifter and arms,and regular fluid changes(I run Castrol synthetic gear oil) no problems.If you can get a build code off your trans I may be able to tell you what one you have(lets pray it isn't a Saginaw)and what gears ratios you have.I wouldn't trade my 4 speed for any auto trans..a six speed is a whole different story..lol:lala:
