ok i just bought a ten bolt rearend with 3.42 gears and im gonna replace my old 2.73 rear, i wanna know how hard is the swap please rate on a scale of one to five, five being the hardest, and how much of a diference will i feel with the 3.42 gears in my 305 700r4 car, any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks

 

If you are replacing the whole rear a 3, the carrier & gears only a 5.
