Trans moving help bad please....
Today I was driving and my trans feels like it is going to pop through the floor. It is a aftermarket T-5 Brog Warner. I think I might need a new croos member or trans mounts. Please help me find out what is wrong. It only does it in 1st 2nd and a lil bit of 3rd. Only when I get on the gas. Help me please. I plan on taking it to Zrated Motorsports and seeing what is worng with hopefully they will know.

id check to see if its the trans mount. That may have broken. The reason its more pronounced in the lower gears is that there is higher torque output and the trans will move more (hit the floor pan or surrounding area)

I had new trans mounts put in back in October. And the trans was just redone. New Everything enternal. If it is the trans mounts how hard are they to change? I hate driving around like that I can't even race now cause it slamms the floor. And today going to work I was on it through 3rd and 4th and even in 4th it lifted. Can anyone help me.

Takes about 15 minutes..
Jack up the rear of the car, support it on jackstands so it's high enough to get another jack under the car..
CAREFULLY jack up up the trans to relieve the pressure on the cross member... unbolt the cross member, unbolt whats left of the mount from the C.M., unbolt the other half from the trans.
bolt the new mount to the trans, bolt the cross member to the frame, lower the trans carefully onto the cross member, put the nut on that holds the mount to the cross member..
Takes about 15 minutes to do it.
Just make sure to properly support the rear of the car.. don't want it to fall when you're under there.

generic replacement is about $16-20...
Autozone sells energy suspensions poly mount.. it has the metal bracing inside.. they don't snap as quickly
The E.S. mounts are $24.99

you can also order one through the 'net from summit or jegs and have it expressed to you for probably not too much.

man... i dint notice you had a borg-warner t5 behind that 355. Is it the world class? I was going to get one for my 305 but now that i have a 350 i dont think the t5 will stand it. The wc is only rated for around 300 ft-lbs or torque.
