When replacing my trans mount a few days ago i noticed a connector hanging down. when i took the crossmember off it fell (it was laying on it) i looked and looked for someplace for it to go but i couldnt find anything. any idea what it is?
what color, how many wires, ??????
after thinking for a while, could it be the connector for reverse lights on the 5 sp trannys????, i hope so cuz then i won't have to do any backyard wiring

all i can remember is that it had 3 connectors like this( ooo )i didnt pay to much attention to the colors.

A square 4 way connector with 3 wires is the TCC & 4th gear indicator. It goes on the trans drivers side, facing up, just behind the shift linkage.
thanks alot man...what happens if that isnt plugged in? no lockup? maybe its messed up...buddies grand am was messed up so he unplugged the TCC lockup sensor and it fixed his problem?!?
