what else holds these stupid pedals in?????
i got the two braces that bolt to the clutch master cylinder cylinder, what else do i need to remove, i would prefer to not take out the steering column if at all possible, i have already removed the 2 nuts allowing it to drop down a bit, also what are the odds that my automatic car is gonna have all the wiring for the clutch switch?

Well...i just did an automatic to stick swap on my 83 TA. Was very easy. Started on Saturday night at 7:00pm and worked on it to around 11:15pm, and Sunday morning 11:00am to around 1:00pm. VERY EASY. But onto the pedals....there are 4 studs that come through the firewall from the brake booster, the 2 braces as you mentioned before, and 1 bolt that goes straight up into the body that is loated almost directly above the steering column. I just took the 2 nuts off that allow the steering column to drop and got my hand pretty much right up in there. But thats all that holds the pedals in. Good luck.
