TH350 rebuild advice, please.

My 82 Z is getting a new 350 (close to 400hp). What is the best way to beef up the TH350? What are the best kits for this application? What is the appx. cost for the rebuild and how long should it take? Thanks in advance.

listen to what Dana, (Pro-built) tells you.

My opinion is that TH350s are very strong an can handle nearly 500 Horsepower in stock form, but not forever... My TH350 is stock with 2 mods: B&M Shiftkit, Race Clutches... and it holds up to my 550 Ft. Lbs of torque with ease... but Dana will be building me a 700R4 soon because I want gas mileage and I dont trust stock anything for very long behind that kind of power.
