Another Th700r4 goes south!

I had a problem with my trans not shifting from 2-3 @wot.
I tried a new governor. Made it worse.
The trans puked last night at the drags so I guess the problem is solved. Ha Ha Ha....

Going to dig out my trusty old th350 and take it in to be freshened.

Question: Will the driveshaft from any of the manual transmission cars be the same (length, yoke spline) or do I have to get the driveshaft from an 1982 Fbody with the Th200 3 speed auto, to make this swap???

depends on the length of the 350, long 350 is same as 700, short 350 is 3" shorter than 700
long 350 are found in trucks
are all same splines as each other, as with 3 and 4 speed and 200c, and maybe t5 too, maybe
good luck

Gm built 5 different lengths of the t-350. You need a 9 inches tail housing 350 to replace a 700r4 tranny.

The long t-350 is a 12 inch tail housing.
