what kit is the best for rebuilding my tranny to handle more torque?

Axle/Gears: GM Axles and GM 3.73
what kit is the best for rebuilding my tranny to handle more torque?

im pretty sure my tranny is gonna go after i drop this 383 in it......its supposed to put out about 420torque at the flywheel.....so what could i get that would resolve my problem......thanks

Use alto red friction clutches with 8 or 9 third/fourth frictions. And a TransGo 2&3 kit at the minimum.
You might also use a .500 boost valve, .296 int/rev valve and corvette servo.

is there a kit anywhere where they may combine all that into one kit?

Try HPTransParts.com They have some great prices and hard parts. They are not complete kits, you need to "assemble" the options of the kits yourself, but everything is there. It's best to change everything (bushings, sprags, thrust bearings...) anyway... A pump rebuild kit is a good idea as well.
