1-2 shift and shift kits
I know that shift kits have been talked about alot but I need to know if one will help my problem. Anytime I am at WOT, the car takes forever to shift into 2nd gear. Sometime it gets to about 6000RPM. I have adjusted the TV cable but it really hasn't made much difference. I was wondering if a shift kit or the Corvette Servo kit would help. Is the Servo kit part of the shift kit or seperate? Is Transgo much better than the B&M? BTW, this is a 700R4.

It almost sounds like it is slipping?
slipping is not good, if you are slipping i dont think any of those things will fix that.
You need to have a healthy tranny to put a shift kit, servo and all that good stuff in it.
I would also just run a search about your problem, u might find something more detailed.

That all depends. If you can hold it till 6k and the car actually pulls WOT whats the problem? If it wouldent shift a light throttle till 6K then I would see how slipping or somthing internal could be messed up.
I would try adjusting your tv cable again and if that doesnt work it could be a stuck tv valve. If that is the case I think the transgo kit is supposed to help fix that but someone else may have a better explination

Thanks, I talked to Pro-Built yesterday and he recommended the Transgo Reprogramming kit. What is the difference in the reprogramming kit and the shift kit? I have seen two different Transgo kits.
