On my drive home from work today, my transmission started going into lock-up as soon as it shifts into second, and does it all the way to 4th gear no matter what speed in going. I've never heard of a 700R4, or any tranny doing this and wondered if anyone has experienced this and what they found was wrong.

 

The lock up soliniod is stuck on. The earliest it can lock up is in the middle of second gear. Somehow it's either getting power all the time through a stuck switch or it's mechanically stuck.
