I plan on building a new tranny for my bird for when i put my new engine in. I can get one from my junkyard with under 100k for $65. My question is how much would a full rebuld cost? is there such thing as a performance rebuild? or could i just throw a clutch pack and shift kit in it and go? I'm new to this, i apologize. Im looking for something beefier than stock and want to do it before the old tranny decides to crap out on me. Will a new valve body, like the one that comes in the transgo kit solve some of the 700's problems or should i do a full rebuild anyway? any help would be appreciated. thanx
