Transmission Mount?!

What is everyone using for a transmission mount? Mine feels like it moves waaay too much. I've check it and it ain't broken. I heard some really crappy things about enery suspension units and how they change the angle of the driveshaft and promote noise.
What does everyone use? My T5 is freshly rebuilt and is quite solid...only prob is that the whole tranny feels like it's moving too much (only when under serious power).
Should I spring for the ES unit?

I bought an Energy Suspension trans mount for mine when I had to replace the clutch, and ended up reusing the stock mount because I couldn't get the new one to fit. If anyone else has had fitment issues it's not just me being retarded, I suggest staying away from it.

I use the energy suspension poly mounts also, and have had no problems at all.
I have one in my iroc as well as in my astro.

I'll say it solved alot of problems I had with my iroc too.

Hopefully some help on this one

Im pretty sure its just my tranny mount, but when i get on my 85 TA when the shift from first to second i know its the tranny jumpoing up and hitting, my question is. Is it hard to replace the Tranny mounts yourself? I purchased a ES mount and just havent decided if i should try and do itmyself or have it done any suggestions?

Don't even pay someone to replace a tranny mount. It's the definitive easiest mod ever, apart from replacing the air filter. I replaced mine with an ES and it took about 20 mins. All you need is a jack and some jack stands and some sockets and a ratchet.

Oh, and you might need a nail file for the crossmember slot. If I remember, the bolt for the ES mount is slightly larger than stock and won't fit through the slot without grinding some metal away. A Dremel can do it in seconds.

I love my ES mount. It beats replacing the rubber one once a week... :nono:
