Transmissions and Drivetrain Need help with your trans? Problems with your axle?

Crap!!!!!! I didnt hear the TC click 3 times!!!!!

Sh*t!!!!!! I didnt hear the TC click 3 times!!!!!

K I swear I thought it was in all the way, and then I tightend the trans to the Block and it was really bad, but didnt think anything of it(dumbass) Well right when I tighten them all, I check the T/C and it was impossible to move, so I ubolted it and found out I didnt have it in all the way!!! Do you think I could have fugged something up?

The magic eight ball says.....................
You could have cracked the bellhousing part of the case. You could have bent the flexplate. You could have ......whats the point. If you want to know if you damaged anything either take it all apart and inspect everything or run it and see if anything goes wrong. I'd say the most likely part to break would be the case.

I highly doubt the case is cracked. The weak point is the pump rotor. If anyting broke, it will be the pump rotor and hope no damage has been done to the pump body or cover. Your best bet would be to take it back out and look in behind the seal and see if the two "tangs" are still in place.

It is possible to bend the rotor without the drive lugs breaking
off. Measure from flexplate pad to rear of block and make sure the converter is in the bellhousing about .250" deeper than that.
