Looking for a T5 have a couple ???

I was reading through some posts, and it looks like the same transmission is in several cars. Is this true.

What are all the cars that have the same T5 transmission as the ones in camaros, i saw a couple vehicles like s10, blazer, is this true, are they the same 5 speeds?

Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am trying to find the cheapest deal on one since this limited budget is really limiting me hehe.

Also any other information you can give me would be great, thanks.

I am not sure what vehicles the T5 are in. BUt I can tell you if you want a T5, the easiest place to get one would be a F-body Junkyard. Heres a site for one. http://www.billygrahamscamaro.com/

One from a S-10 will not fit. The shifter is in a different place, and it won't have the torque arm mount, and the trans mount pad will be at the wrong angle.

The only T-5 that will fit in one of these cars is one out of one of these cars. But if all you're looking for is parts, tell us what parts you need, and maybe we can tell whether S-10 or other common nes will work.

you could make an s-10 one work if you had a donor trans, to use the tail housing, and top plate, including, the shifter rod,

couldn't you?

just a thought

From third gen to another the gears are different. If you do some research on this site from the main page, I can't remember the link it will give you the gear brakedown.
