i have a 700r4 and when i mash the gas in first it doesnt want to shift from 1st to second, i have a shift kit. i have a 350 dropped in a 305 car, with the 305 computer and prom, could that affect something? because the revlimiter is set at 5grand and 350's redlines are 5500, could that be the problem or is it something else

 

A) You do not have a Shift Kit, you have a B&M. B) WHen you cahnged the eingine around, did you keep the original induction system? The reason I ask is that the geometry for the TV MUST be correct.

 

I was thinking TV cable too.....if the problem is not shifting correctly. But if its really slipping also, then its something interior....maybe plate or flywheel

 

I did not swap the engine, the tranny is less than a year old, i did not swap that either. the previous owner said there was a shift kit in it, he also said when he got it there was some problems with the tv cable, but he fixed it, at WOT it will go up to 5000rpm sit there for a second then shift, its not slipping, it just wont shift. also when i go through the gears manually, same thing, get to 5grand i shift it, it sits there for a few seconds then it will shift
