TH-350 installation

I bought the B&M swap kit to put a 350 in place of the 700r4, and now it says that I need an outer torque arm bracket from GM. They even gave the GM part #(10034259). I really don't want to buy this part from GM because i know that it'll be way over priced. Now if i knew what car GM put this outer torque arm bracket on, if any, i could get it at a junk yard. Anybody who has done this swap please help. Kyle

Hey ede..what did you do for the driveline. I'm ordering the conversion kit from Spohn. But the driveline is a little spendy at $355. Any help is appreciated.

what do you mean "the drive line" both cars i put th350s in it was just a matter of using the b&m kit. didn't have to change anything. guess on my car i made plug for the speedo hole since that's just extra weight and trouble for me to have it hooked up.

I did mine about 3 weeks ago. i used my old torque arm
bracket from the th700 on the b&m 350 swap bracket.
Requred minor drilling to lengthen one hole on the bracket.
Other than that, it was a bolt in.
I got the drive shaft out of a V6 3 speed auto car .

Drive shaft.. sorry.. I thought the stock drive shaft was too short with the 6" tailshaft....I wont need a speedo either. Did you use the 9"tailshaft Ede.
F-Bird..does it have to be a pre 84car? No tailoring needed , huh?th200 right?
