Engine: Turbocharged/Intercooled 3.1
Transmission: World Class T5 5 Speed
'93-'97 T5 in an '88?

Will it work? What needs to be changed? What differences are there?


It's from a '94 3.4L, going into an '88 2.8L, if it'll fit anyway. $300 with 90day warranty, and it's all they got! All he knows, is it's a Borg Warner tranny

I could be wrong but I suspect it will...

Count the input shaft splines. If it's 14, it should slap right in.

if its not 14 splines,
