quick question about my auto dog

so Im almost done building my 84 camaro when I got it it had a computer controled carb/distributor,that lasted about 3 minets
so I pulled all this gabage out and had the heads hot tanked and re built, instaled an edelbrock cam/lifter/intake,a holley 600 cfm,an accel electronic distributor w/super coil, and an electric fuel pump so hear is where the question comes in if by not having the carb and distributor hooked up to my computor will this effect my tranny in any way
shape of form?

ok for starters, that attitude will you get you nowhere.

i also noticed you waited a whole 2 hours before bumping your post,

some people have lives other than here, and when they get back here they will probly answer if they can.

one other small item you have a search button USE IT!

and as for your question, yes not having the computer controlled stuff will affect your transmission, 700r4 have a locking torque convertor which aids in gas mileage, no computer signal= no lockup. there is a tech article, concerning this, in the tech articles section of this site, OR you could use the search button and find dozens of answers

not trying to be an a$$ or anything, just pointing a few things out

by the way welcome to the board
