I just replaced my 700r4 and i have a leak from the lower oil line. It is a hard line with a flange on the end. I replaced the line and it is still leaking from the threads of the fitting on the hard line? What am i doing wrong??

Check for a piece of debris or damage to the sealing surface on the transmission fitting.

Thats my next step! I know that the flange and it's mate must be perfect and not too tight! I put some plumbers tape on it and it still leaks, so i'm guessing i need a new fittiing. keep ya updated.

Teflon tape is for pipe fittings, not flare fittings.
