I installed the Megashifter over the weekend. Everything went smoothly except it is hard to get out of park and is a little harder than my brothers Megashifter in his 81 camaro to shift. Someone in previous threads mentioned that the cable can bind on the hole in the floor even if the grommet is in place. I routed the cable perfectly as the directions said to.

It does touch the outside edge of the hole in the floor. I tried moving it but no matter what it still rubs up against the grommet tightly. I was thinking of widening the hole just a bit with the Dremel so it won't rub at all. (Someone on here did this). Do you think this might be the cause?
