Stock Torque Convertor stall rpm

I'm not sure if stall rpm is what I'm looking for but...

A year or so ago my '87 700R4 tranny went out so I got a rebuilt one. I know that once I got it, the whole car felt a little different. I'm not sure if it was shift points or what. Felt like I had a different gear ratio in the rear end or something(Of course I still had my 2.73s). I just checked today and at WOT, when it shifts from 1st to second, the tach drops to 3200 rpms. Is this normal or different from you stock guys? Kinda weird, I know, but it would only take someone a minute or two to check. Thanks.

the stock stall speed is 1500 rpms, but thats not what you're looking for. what do you mean when you say your car feels different...like you have a different rear end ratio?? meaning the car is shifting early or late??

Well, it's been awhile since the swap ( a year), but it felt like I had different gears. Obviously, I know that I don't. The car shifted at different speeds is pretty much the difference I think, but I can't be for sure cause I don't have anything to compare it too. I guess I should check what mph it shifts at in WOT and ask guys with the same gears when their's shifts. Do I make any sense?

Just checked again. At WOT it shifts into second right at 40mph.

Is it possible that your torque converter was not locking up before, and now it is? That really makes driving feel different.
