do i need to break in my clutch?

iv read a few thiings that say how u need to break in ur clutch.. but i didn't find anything in the instructions that said anything about breaking it in.. do i need to?

Yes, usually about 500 miles.

My centerforce df clutch had a flyer that said 500 miles of regular stop and go driving before applying full engine power. I guess that means that you have to be nice for 500 miles, before dumping the clutch at 4000rpm

You do not hammer it til after 500 miles. Its always a good thing to break in your clutch.
