a friend of mine has a 83 Camaro z28 no engine/trans says it has 4 wheel discs, im wondering if this would fit into my 70 Camaro? and what type of gear ratio do these normally have? It also has IROC rims on it, body is straight and has like new interior just needs engine/tranny/paint, i dont have the time an extra cash to try and get a engine and trans for it so i just want the rear, and the interior.

There's no way you would eeeevvvveeeerrrr want to put a 7.5" in a big body. They came with a very strong 8.5".
You should be able to get a rear disk conversion, but personaly there over rated. The rear doesn't provide 50% braking force, It might give you 30 or so?
I just finished restoring my rear drums to new condition. $120 bucks w/new drums, shoes, & springs.
