Converting a 4x4 tranny to 2wd application

Hey Guys
Could you give me hand? I don't need the tech of this situation at this time...but I do need to know if I have the correct parts to even attempt it.
Thx
I have a '85 4x4 Blazer that I would like to use the engine AND transmission(TH700R4) in my swap into my '92 Astro van. The van also has a 700R4.

Can I use the parts from the Astro to make the Blazer tranny a 2wd application?

THX Guys:hail:

Maybe... the extension housing AFAIK is the only piece that's different; everything else is the same. That comes off with a couple of bolts.
